The intellectual framework of Islamic Economics is no longer any genuine work, rather merely a carbon copy of neoclassical economic ideology grafted with some Islamic labels. Islamic economics completely endorses liberal value and policy package. It effectively seeks to subsume muslims into the liberal political order. The author of this book (which is a collection of his four articles) argues that such a legitimation of liberal values and politics is not warranted on the name of Islam. The book also takes a detailed account of arguments put forward by the supporters of Islamic finance. Finally, the author argues that Islamization of Banking is not possible at all.
