When Elaine suddenly regains consciousness in a castle on the island of Saint Philippe, located off the coast of France, she finds herself being prepared to marry Prince Richard. She's been told she was engaged to the prince before being seriously injured in a place crash many months before. There's just one problem: she cannot remember this place or, more importantly, Prince Richard. She has no recollection of her love for him. Just before the ceremony, part of Elaine's memory returns.
