Presence Past: A Collection of Reflections

The poems contained herein were written over a period of years and speak to the human condition. Hold up these poems to a mirror, and you will see some part of yourself gazing back. This poetry collection encompasses a wide variety of topics and styles. It is divided into four general thematic sections. The first section, Love and Loss, addresses how love, the most powerful and poignant of human emotions, cannot truly be understood until we experience its dark companion, loss. The second section, Hope and Despair, is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. The third section, Life and Time, reflects upon these universals. The fourth and final section, Past and Presence, ponders a variety of topics and also includes some heartfelt tributes.
