Cecelia Genato has had it with writing for Hollywood. She returns to her hometown to do some serious work, namely a theatre piece for her mentor to perform as a one woman show. While re-establishing relationships with her family, friends and a former boyfriend. Cecelia also delves further into her ancestral religion of Stregheria. In her research, Cecelia discovers that her ancestors have been tied to Italian witchcraft for ages, acting as protectors of Mother Earth. Can Cecelia become an intimate player in a myth that began thousands of years ago? To do so, she must learn to live in two worlds: one of magic and one of mortals.
