Hell Comes Again

My name is Jim Cooley. Forty odd years ago I was told by the president of the United States to go to hell! But hell was one of the most beautiful places ever. Green, jungle enclosed mountains on one side, a blue azure sea with white sandy beaches on the other. But in-between was the raging fires and roaring flames of hell trying to kill me every stinking day I spent in that beautiful deceiving place! I survived my time in hell and came home. I tried to put the horrors of it behind me by exploring old abandoned mines out in the beautiful desert that surrounds my home here in Phoenix, AZ. Nineteen years ago, I found one of those old mines and partially explored it --- that is until a billion and a half blood sucking-hair curdling-leather skinned-red-fanged vampire bats chased me out of their satanic blood covered sacrificial altar area. Anyway, for some reason two weeks ago, I wanted to go back and find that old mine again. I had been having dreams about it. I was feeling a huge tug inside to go back. A little inner voice was saying, ‘find me’. So, my wife, my youngest daughter and her two little terrors-my grandkids, and I headed out to find it. But when we eventually got there, it had changed. It was now being used by the Mexican drug cartel as a distribution place to ship their poisonous concoctions all across America. And they were using illegal border crossers as free slave labor to do this. Friends, they captured all of us, and they were going to kill us to keep us quiet.
