These are favorite author's stories: about dating and other observations about culture and people in the culture: Russians, Americans, as well as other nationalities. Such stories as "Masseuse", "Librarian", "Greedy Kuzya", "Stripper", and others, are included in the book. The book can be easily read as a continuation of the first Zoia's book "The Girl from California", or it can be read as a separate book of stories about California. Whatever way it is read, the reader, as always, is up for a pleasant surprise at Zoia's humor, lively jokes, as well as the look on the recent life in California - its ups and downs, its real people, as seen by an optimistic Zoia. The book is very informative and can be used by Russian language instructors, and students as a great additional language tool of familiarizing with Russian point of view on the other cultures, as well as Russian sense of humor. Zoia is a bilingual professional who lives and works in California.
