The story of the ancient Roman outlaw, Bulla Felix. Like the English Robin Hood, he was crafty, resourceful, a master of disguise and the narrow escape – and he stole from the rich and gave to the poor. He and his band of 600 men famously fought against the oppression of the emperor Septimius Severus and his agents in Italy. This novel also follows Bulla's imagined adventures in Scotland and India.
