Blood Orange Summer

Blood Orange Summer is a modern re-imagining of the Myth of Persephone and Hades. The novel, beginning on a snowy March day and ending on the Autumnal equinox, follows Persy as she wades through an existential crisis stemming from the popular tale that her husband destroyed her innocence. With the help of her Mother, her friend Francis, and her dog Mongrel, Persy takes responsibility for her own life even if it is a life overlooked and best forgotten.
