Blessing, Texas…a great place for folks who are happy with the little things in life. Fat doesn’t take hold, bruises don’t happen, bird poop just can’t find a target, and flowers bloom unseasonably. With a little Luck, women and men find the perfect mate. Luck, in truth, is the sweet flow of fortune channeled by the Bless line of male descendants. But even with the ‘Luck’, the latest heir to the Bless heritage, Jackson, is struggling to keep the town viable. His plan is to revitalize the abandoned old factory and build a retail center that will attract tourists; enter Tanna Synfel, the environmental assessor who is supposed to help him determine the site’s condition. Practical Tanna not only doesn’t believe in luck, but her no nonsense investigation is revealing an environmental and financial nightmare for Jackson.
