Mad Dog and the Welsh Army

Upon Mad Dog’s escape from his captive Sioux, he and his band of friends known as the Slings, including Spear (David), Wildcat (Brenda) and Fearless (Eva), his beloved wolf dog, Red, and horse, Flop Ear, made their way towards what they remembered as the location of the Welsh Capitol. Forced upon their group, but soon to become valued comrades, were Bear and his wife Blue Bird designated as Ambassadors from the Sioux to the Welsh. Along the way, they adopted yet another, a Welsh girl, Annesta, who had escaped her native captors also. Through many adventures, the group make their way towards the Capitol to a joyful reunion with Madog’s parents, Queen Gwenllian and King Conan whom he hadn’t seen for ten years. Mad Dog returned to his people in a time of turmoil and unrest, with conspirators and naysayers in abundance. Through Mad Dog’s cunning military skill and foresight, he envisioned a strategy to successfully journey his people of the Welsh Nation across many miles and many trials to the Shining Mountains which his mother, a seer, envisioned as a place of refuge for the native-beleaguered Welsh Nation.
