Purna Vidya: Guidelines for Teaching Ramayana

Purna Vidya is a twelve year program designed to provide a structured and developmentally based teaching of Vedic tradition and culture to children. It consists of teaching materials, assignments, lesson plans, and fun filled exercises. It is very comprehensive and includes a wide range of subject matter. It is used in many schools and communities in several countries. Guidelines for Teaching Ramayana, a supplement to Ramayana Text Book provides adults with guidelines, a lesson plan, solutions to the exercises in the text book and several commonly recited prayers in sanskrit, written in Devanagiri script, an english transliteration, word to word translation and meaning of the verses. It also contains a Ramayana play with a cast of characters and dialogues that can be enacted by children.
