My Pal Seymour

While visiting his uncle, a state park ranger in California, Bryce meets a not-so-extinct, cookie-loving creature with a big trunk, hiding in the bushes. Once Bryce promises to keep his discovery a secret, he and his new friend Seymour the Mastodon set off to explore the wonders of the park and have great adventures together. That summer, they learn that best pals come in all shapes and sizes. The book was inspired by the real Seymour the Mastodon, who resides at the Museum of Science in Buffalo, New York.
