Against the backdrop of personal loss, Rebecca MacKenzie inherits an historic chapel from her grandmother in California’s Central Valley. She regains her emotional stability by establishing a wedding business in an idyllic setting with her best friend Margaret Kendrick. Woven amongst hilarious nuptials that include a tardy drunk groom accompanied by a fourteen-piece mariachi band and gun-toting groomsmen, a brawl initiated by a mother-in-law disenchanted with her new role, and added chaos, Rebecca finds herself surrounded by couples bubbling over with new love. All the while she struggles to rein in her own feelings for a past heartthrob, Boyd Hamilton, a nationally-known speaker on the topic of marriage, who showers Rebecca with attention in spite of the wedding ring adorning his own finger. Loyal Margaret literally goes into battle to protect Rebecca against Boyd. But, Rebecca’s tenderly healing heart is reignited by a mysterious stranger she greets daily where they are both patrons of a local coffee house.
