The Controllers

Rain has been living on the streets, barely getting by for six months, when she meets Trek, a deserter from his nation. Trek’s family takes Rain in, and nourishes her back to health, while quickly rising up in the military status. As Rain grows closer to her new friend, she becomes a part of his life, and when they move to the army base, she comes with them, only to be sucked into the dangers and horrors of fighting in a war. With a nation for each element – Earth and Fire against Air and Water – and special powers that certain people are gifted with, there is really no saying how the war will turn out. But the one thing that Rain knows is that while her powers are getting stronger, the Swifts and Forges are planning something big, something that will involve her and Trek and everyone that she has grown to love.
