Angels in the Midst - 2010 Edition

Alexander Bose is a haunted man. Trapped by the tragic loss of his wife, he struggles against insanity. Enveloped by bitterness, he curses his tormented life, shunning himself from the outside world. Rage and heartbreak presses his twisted thoughts to the point of self destruction. Outside, a blizzard takes a violent turn for the worse, blasting it's icy breath and heavy snow vehemently across the darkened landscape. Drunk with wine, and crushed within the realm of emptiness and isolation, his teeth grind against the barrel of what seems to be the only escape from his pain ridden and miserable existence. Moments before squeezing the trigger, he is suddenly interrupted by the loud knock of a stranger at his front door. Bringing news of an accident on the secluded road, Alex must not only decide upon his own fate, but also that of the woman still trapped in her car. Weak from malnutrition and intoxication, little does Alex know that with his first few steps into the ghostly drifts, his journey to discover his mysterious purpose has just begun.
