He earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in the USA, and studied architecture in London and Australia. Hare also worked with architects there, as well as working in Manhattan, New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New England. Hare earned a Master of Arts Degree in History in 1994. The combination of his rare talents with a pen, and his professional interest in architecture, has led to his art becoming his main avocation in his retirement.
