Climate change: a glossary of terms

The glossary was first published in 1999 as a response to the rapid growth of terminology related to climate change and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations. This 5th edition extends the glossary with new terms emerging from recent Conference of the Parties (COP) meetings including Durban and Copenhagen. The glossary provides material for those new to the field, as well as experts seeking the latest acronyms and terminology.
