Q & A: A Morattico Murder Mystery

Northern Neck of Tidewater Virginia, in a small waterfront community Wilma Wells stumbles across a mystery. She persuades Morattico’s oldest widow, Birdie Trent, to help her solve the mystery.Birdie extends her own personal efforts by recruiting a number of locals, from humble to prominent, in her quest, and she has a method, embracing the disproportionate ratio of questions to answers as the essential strategy behind her unorthodox investigation. As she eventually begins to uncover some answers, the turf wars of two of our nation's most covert agencies accidentally spill over into Birdie’s carefully orchestrated procedures.
