24/7, 2012 - Our Year in Music & Boston Sports

Hop onboard a musical express named 2012 and take a ride from Boston to Bonnaroo and back. This proud father's promise was to blog about at least 1 song from a different artist for an entire year. Wrongly accused of cursing my favorite team while rapping in an infamous music video, the 2011 Red Sox somehow inspired me to start this project. While editing for the sports network that carries the Sox and Bruins, I'm happily married to the girl of my dreams and we've been placed in charge of 2 handsome sons. Still can't believe I put one of them in the Stanley Cup. In high school, a swimming accident left me paralyzed underwater and only the man upstairs can explain how I got out of it. I'm a very lucky kid and I know it. I love music and sports more than anything in this world and I've been blessed with the greatest family and friends. My yearlong journey introduces you to important people and information in an attempt to make you smile. That's what it's all about. There were a few crazy stories I needed to tell and the music came along for the wild ride. Come enjoy 1,100 songs and maybe one of the 900 bands will make you see the light.
