The website www.GrumpyOldSod.com came into existence early in 2005, and quickly gained a following as a voice for ordinary, honest, common-sense people in an increasingly lunatic world. Oppressed by political correctness and health and safety, offended by the demands of dotty minorities, betrayed by generations of politicians and public servants, The Grumpy Old Sod spoke out in language cogent, pungent, relevant and ... erm, anything else ending in -nt. The site now has over 3,000 pages, and in 2011 over 20 million readers visited. Or possibly it was just one bloke who clicked on 20 million times. Pervert. This book presents some of the best of The Grumpy Old Sod's rants from 2005 and 2006, to entertain, enlighten, and nourish the inner Sod.
