Better Off, No Doubt About It!

This is a story about three adults who struggled to find themselves. One started off with a plan, another had no plan to start, and the other already had what they needed. After getting lost along the way, they finally saw the light and discovered that the journey was just as important as the end result. Excerpt: How in the world did I even get here? What did I do to deserve this crap? Did I have a hand in this mess? I'm tired and confused now. Lord help me find my way out of this mess and I promise I will not come this way again! There was no telling what kind of dreams Kahlia J. had her first night at her Aunt Betty’s. When she woke up before the alarm clock could go off, she thought she had not fallen asleep at all. She was still tired. Perhaps it had something to do with the extra weight she was carrying around. Her throat was sore and her mouth was extremely dry. She had forgotten to take her medication before bedtime for her high cholesterol. But she didn’t have this kind of problem before when she had missed her medication. She did that all the time, especially when she was up all night anyway.
