Jasspar, even as an infant, showed unusual intelligence. He even recalled a trip in his walker before he could talk where he saw a pretty little girl and he wanted her. College and his Master's and Doctor's degrees didn't erase his remembrance of her. He became a sharp lawyer and progressed to the position of District Attorney, solving one case after another and each step presented an opening into a vast soup of intrigue, graft and corruption from which he collected private evidence until there came an open vendetta against his parents. He acted in a suddenness of court actions and indictments which swept from his associate lawyers clear up to the Senate, the Governor and his collaborator the Vice President of the United States causing the collapse of a criminal coalition. He was well into a very entangled involvement with many women who were in very close contact but he would not swerve from his resolution to find his first throb. Then one day she looked him up not knowing what he was like. He was fascinated with the woman but she was frightened of him as though he was some kind of god. His very presence in his position in court could cause the rankest of politicians to be honest of his deeds and confess. That same stare could cause anyone to open their mind to him and his astute knowledge of their cogitation could precisely give him ability to bring them into his power.
