Sinners All

The arrival of two strangers upsets the idyllic boredom of the small English village of Much Humping. Suddenly ancient wrongs and modern plots ensnare the small population, which is as odd as the history of the village they reside in. Hundreds of years ago, a strange religious relic was taken from the faithful villagers, resulting in centuries of bad luck. Peter, a naive young clergyman appointed to the village church, arrives on the same bus as a young lady of questionable morals, who has been imported by the local pub owner to increase his falling revenues. Their arrival causes the town folk, each for their own reasons, to combine to right the ancient injustice, setting in motion a chain of events that reaches to the heavens. A plan that begins with the best of intentions becomes a raucous comedy of errors, and suddenly the scheming flows as plentifully as the beer in the pastoral English countryside.
