Inspired by Asimov, Burroughs and the rest, here is Mega Man in prose, for the generation that helped him dominate Wily in the '80s. This novel is rated T. Loosely based on Mega Man Megamix by Hitoshi Ariga. "And as if that were not enough, Proto's personality software failed a standard reverse-engineering profile administered by the Department of Psychorobotics at RIT. In short, the reports concluded that though he was "indistinguishable from the control in group and interpersonal affect simulation, unit DLN-000 [Proto Man] scored low in interviews intended to evaluate system conformity to human operant conventions as established by several international charters on robot ethics."
