Ecco!: An Introduction to Advanced Italian

Written in easy, conversational English, ECCO! reviews and explains all major points of Italian grammar, with special attention to those areas that appear more foreign to English speakers. Emphasis is also placed on vocabulary enrichment. The book presents about 6,000 Italian words, grouped thematically by structural or grammatical characteristics, many of them illustrated by examples. It also includes about 1,000 Italian idioms (particular turns of phrase peculiar to the language) and lists all irregular forms of verbs and nouns.
