# Cultured: A Guide to Study Abroad for Students by Students

This book presents blog posts from Elon University students’ experiences with culture shock and re-entry shock after participating in different 2012 semester-long study abroad programs. The unique characteristic of this book is that it has been collaboratively written by students, for students. This is not a guide, but rather a tool to help inform both future study abroad students, and those who’ve already returned to be better prepared for their own unique study abroad experience. All net profits of this book will be donated to a need based scholarship fund for Elon University students who wish to study abroad.
