The Adventure of John Quincy Quail

When John Quincy Quail and his sister, Hazel Quail, along with their brother, Rutherford Quail, are abandoned by their parents, they face a scary time. Young children will love this tale of survival filled with luscious photographs that help tell the story. About the Authors Alexis Powers has written several books. She writes a weekly column for the Arizona Daily Star, Northwest section and conducts a bi-monthly Writers’ Workshop at the Oro Valley Library. Raised in New York, she has lived in many cities, but now resides in Oro Valley with her two dogs, Charlie and Toots. Jane McCutchen has published two books of photography paired with poems by Dwight Cosper. She has taken photographs since she was young but became more serious when on a trip to Italy. Her photographs are displayed in businesses and private residences throughout the U.S. Jane resides in Tucson with her families of quails, hawks, owls, lizards and rattlesnakes.
