To my readers age 0 to 99: If this book is in your hands, please realize that you are extremely lucky. This is your reminder that while some of your talents, abilities and strengths may be innate, your parents and other adults you met as you grow has sharpened them to be your skills. Each person, regardless of age, social standing and race, have someone influential and inspirational. In your memory bank, someone helped you become smart, someone made sure you are safe, strong, healthy and happy. Because you are Here can teach children to be grateful to his/her family and relatives, teachers, nannies and others who are responsible in shaping them to grow into a wonderful and successful person. When this happens, your child can then say "I am who I am, Because you are Here".
