Black Water (The Nest Series)

I am Alan Charms; I'm a killer. That's what I do. I'm not a hit man but if I was I would be the best. Never have I killed out of emotion or rage...contract, vengeance or any other pointless reasons. But I may today. About three years ago I was kidnapped by some unknown men and sent to a place called the Nest. I have a vague memory of that place, maybe to my advantage. They say I was missing for only two days but in that world I've been there for two and a half years. That world has taught me some unusual abilities that I can't remember how to use. I'm so strong. God only knows what they put in me. The black water. There's something I'm supposed to remember about the black water. Don't drink it...don't touch it...something. I just know it's powerful, poisonous yet electrifying, and I'm a man. A small amount of me thirsts for that power but it's evil. I should at least taste it. Two-thirds of the world's population will be dead soon and don't ask me how I know this. I can barely remember my name. All I know is that I need to find the device before the Frenchman gets to it, if he hasn't already.
