My Story..Gary..My Life

It is the fall of 2010, I am based in Dubai, UAE and looking to re-structure my career as an entrepreneur, Marketing Tabletop Products Globally. October 31, 2010 at 2:30 am I received a call advising that my stepfather had passed, my mother is in dis-belief and being the oldest child, it was the time for me to step in and take over the responsibilities of our family. December 2010 my nephew Raja is diagnosed with lymphoma and now our focus is to see my nephew through chemo therapy and radiation. Raja’s prognosis is good and as a family we wanted to keep him life positive, surround with our love and guide him back to his life as a young man. My children Kareem and Nihal are both busy with their lives, Kareem is based in New York working as a financial advisor and Nihal is completing her BA at LAU University in Beirut, Lebanon. With this setting to my immediate family I decided to move back to Lebanon, settle with my mother in a small village 45 km from the capital Beirut and looking at establishing a balancing act that will allow me to meet the present circumstances head on!! After a few months “ My Story..Gary..My Life” was to come to life and my book became a work in progress but also the focus and the therapy that would get me through this very demanding period in time. It is amazing how the passing of one person can change the lives of so many!!?
