My Grandma's Tales, Book 2 - Bilingual Russian/English Stories: Dual Language Folktales in Russian and English

This book presents Russian and English versions of three tales: Armenian tale “The Princess”, Russian “Clever Daughter” and East-European “Pigeon’s Bride”. They are different but all contain useful life lessons accumulated by generations. “The Princess” is better known as “Anahit” by Ghazaros Aghayan. Here we have adapted it for younger readers.The story proves that being good at something is a necessity for everybody, and the kings are not excluded from that. “Clever Daughter” is a funny story, which shows that in our imperfect world one should protect his/her interests and has to do that in a smart way. “Pigeon’s Bride” is a story about the princess raised in a loving family but destined to fall in love with a pigeon.
