This is the true story of a former programmer who runs his own laundry business for years until he starts getting terrible headaches and debilitating symptoms. A very large brain tumor is discovered. Almost all of the tumor is removed except one small hidden piece which starts growing back rapidly. This remnant tumor is discovered just in time to allow the latest gamma radiation to be used to kill it. His remarkable recovery from these two brain operations allows him to recall many terrifying and humorous details of his amazing journey. Despite these brain operations, he is able to physically write down and to eventually transcribe these memories and to include a daily journal of his therapy and recovery. He lost everything of his former life and still has many symptoms, such as severe tinnitus, a numb and painful leg, swallowing problems, vision problems, and speech problems. Despite these difficulties, he continues to exhibit a positive attitude and his recovery progresses. For example, his walking has gone from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane and now to walking without assistance.
