A sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant, but always honest, first person memoir of a police career that has lasted for over 50 years. It is a rare view from inside the police department of a small city, with stories of incidents and events told from the unique viewpoint of someone who was there, who worked at all levels within the department, and who saw it all. It chronicles many of the changes that have taken place in the 50 year period, both within the police agency and in the public in general.
