This book is a story about a welcomed journey that began as a six month assignment in the Orient that resulted in an unexpected turn with a series of life changing events. Immersing herself in a new culture and adapting daily to new experiences spiritually awakened her to the beauty of life, love, peace and happiness. The wide range of cultural experiences enabled her to grasp a new meaning of love -- what it looks like and what it feels like; and a renewed sense of self- nurturing and self-love; and that love transcends culture and language. The book captures the true essence of the 1883 classic, The Greatest Thing in the World, by Henry Drummond, highlighting the ingredients of love including patience, kindness, generosity, humility, courtesy, unselfishness, good temper, guilessness and sincerity that built the foundation for integration within a new culture that enabled her to build self-confidence, trust and to give and receive unconditional love. This journey, as a foreigner, enabled her to fully experience living in a new land and truly coming home to herself. She learned that you can go anywhere in the world if you possess these qualities, and that the greatest thing in the world is Love.
