In line with the themes of its various inspirations, Zetsubou Robo will remind you that in war, everyone is a casualty, not just the soldiers on the battlefield. In the 25th century, Humanity is at war with the Bellafaun Empire, a once benign empire that has become corrupt and oppressive over the centuries. Caught in the middle is Hiromi Callahan, a young woman and battle mech pilot who has lost nearly everything because of the Bellafaun and their relentless quest to enslave or destroy Humanity. Along with her fellow mech pilots, Hiromi is fighting a desperate battle for the survival of all mankind.
