November Darkness

With the brutal assault of a Carleton University professor the week before Halloween a terrifying serial killer emerges in the nation’s capital. The killer, known only as Milton, is hell bent on acting out a twisted game that involves both the school and its students. As the body count rises the police turn to the one man who may be able to figure out the monster’s mind before it’s too late. Detective Lincoln November returns to the force after a year off following the tragic loss of his family to try and make sense of Milton’s madness. An expert at catching serial killers, even November is baffled by Milton and what his increasingly horrific murders seem to be leading towards. As a bloody pattern begins to appear, November looks to a Carleton student to help unravel the mystery. The brilliant young Mindy Belby is recruited to offer her unique perspective on the crimes. But while the beautiful Mindy may be good for the case, she may be all wrong for November, a man still struggling to come to terms with everything he’s lost. Together, November and Mindy race to stop Milton’s nightmarish plot from unfolding and bringing the entire city to its knees. As the past comes back to haunt him, November realizes that he and Mindy may have gravely underestimated their adversary and that the worst is yet to come.
