The Return of Ruth

Have you ever wished that someone would discover a cure for humanity's greed and indifference, the evil that abounds? Ruth Larson, a mycologist, had been developing the remedy for many years, when in 2018, her research paid off. Just before she was able to implement it, however, she disappeared along with her laboratory in a tragic fire, the origin of which was suspicious. Sinister eyes had been following her since the day she gave up her research position at Numbsall, Inc. pharmaceutical company. Fortunately, Ruth and her husband, Edwin, were aware of the probability she was being observed. So prior to the fire, they placed the remedy in two vessels, crafted by Edwin, and gave them to Agatha Moss for safe keeping. Agatha, an elderly recluse and green witch lived with her mysterious, multitalented cat, Mr. Jax, just a short distance from the Larson residence. She was like family to the Larsons and had helped raise their twins, Cattia and her autistic brother, Leo. Having reached the age of seventeen, and about to graduate from high school, Cattia was unaware that her entire life was orchestrated by fate to be the catalyst for awesome, life-changing events that were about to unfold. Agatha had been instructed by Edwin, to see that Cattia be given possession of the remedy if anything ever happened to he and Ruth. When Edwin fell catatonic due to the shock of losing his wife, Cattia received the vessels so she could dispense the cure. But first, she would be primed by multidimensional occurrences and characters that involved them all in a bi-planetary, retributive scheme.
