Tales of Linda: an AIDS pioneer is remembered

In the late 1970s and early 1980s young men from San Francisco to Provincetown and New Orleans to New York were dying and no one knew why. A handful of doctors, nurses and other caretakers were trying to find out why and, trying to keep the men alive. Linda Laubenstein was one of those doctors. A childhood bout with polio left Linda confined to a wheelchair but that did not stop her. According to many who knew her, it did not even slow her down.
