Loving The Wrong Soldier: A Christian Civil War Era Romantic Western

When a German immigrant family finds a stray and injured horse during the Civil War, they take it back to their barn to heal its gunshot wound. Later, they find its owner who is also injured. The family is anti-slavery and seeing the soldier in dark blue pants, they consider him, at the very least, to be on their side. This is a romantic and incredibly beautiful story of love and devotion, between the horse and the soldier as well as the oldest daughter of the family.
