Harmonized Standard GAP Template and Guide

This template is designed to help a farm prepare for an audit under the Harmonized Standard, conducted by Equicert or another third party auditor. The contents are copyright 2013, by Equicert, except material from the standard itself, which is the intellectual property of the United Fresh Produce Association. This standard is poised to become the new industry standard for the future of fresh produce growing in North America. Following the requirements of this standard should put any farm very close to the requirements of any other standard, as most farm food safety standards have 90% of their content in common and the Harmonized Standard was designed to feature the best and strongest features of existing popular standards to avoid multiple audits. The book includes a reproduction of the requirements and procedures of the pre and post farm gate Harmonized Standard.
