My Angel, My Love

He is one of Heavens' mightiest. He is an archangel. He is the Angel of Death--an enlightened being who transports souls to their final destination. He is Azrael, and he has come to a crossroads. For the first time since his inception, Azrael has formed romantic feelings for a mortal. Felicia is a waitress and the object of Azrael's newfound affection. She is also a terminal cancer patient making her his next assignment.

Azrael begins dealing with some very difficult feelings. He starts asking questions that threaten to undo everything he is and everything he's known. Now, with the constant and unwanted advice of Lucifer himself , Azrael begins to question the motives and actions of the Almighty. And his growing love for Felicia is creating a damning dissension in his heart toward his Creator. He tries everything to save her, but in the end, the disease takes her and Azrael is forced to do the impossible and sentence her to eternal death in the torments of Hell itself.

Azrael's disconcertment with the Father and his questions about the Almighty's design and plan are bringing the Archangel dangerously close to the edge. Lucifer is a constant tempter, and Azrael can't help but believe that what Lucifer says is making a lot of sense. Now he must make a decision. Does he do the unthinkable and fall away from the Almighty, rescue Felicia, and possibly start a war with Heaven itself? Or does he maintain his allegiance with a Creator he secretly believes is flawed and in error?

Will he accept the Father's plan and carry out his duties as a servant of the Almighty, or does he walk the razor's edge between loyalty and free-will--a dangerous place no other angel has dared to tread except Lucifer himself?
