Images in Play: How Filipino Women Co-Create Empowerment in Social Games

This book is about Filipino women players and their usage of social games, focusing specifically on social games on Facebook. The research looks at how Filipino women social gamers co-create images of identity and empowerment through play. Some of their communication practices can be expressed not only in the games, but also through the virtual communities provided by game development companies.
