Little Coyote Man

In the early 1980s, the author was fortunate to know the last Mountain Maidu shaman Baker family member. He combines 30 years of field research, medicine, survival, and science to uphold the mysticism to Native American understandings and shamanism. The last wild Indian man, Ishi, discovered in California’s Sierra-Cascades in 1908, is used to support the story that has true American History between the 1850s and 1900s. In this story, the wild boy named Little Coyote Man learns the shaman secrets to thought processes that unlock the brain to unite it with the spirit world, which can both heal and change reality. As a boy, Little Coyote Man appreciates that everything is interconnected, and that usurpation of that interconnectedness disturbs the natural order of reality, and is why American history unfolded as it did. Little Coyote Man raises a coyote, which helps his people survive, and he has many exciting adventures. His people are a reflection of the changing times with Chinese and others to support the California Gold rush. They mix blood and blend religions of various people, and their offspring infiltrate America’s society and layaway shaman spirits in secret to help people through life’s journey. After society evolves past limited thinking, shaman secrets are revealed for public use.
