After a young girl by the name of Evangeline loses her parents, she moves from her apartment in New York and relocates to a secluded neighborhood in New Jersey. She unexpectedly falls in love with Andrew. But when she loses Andrew in a tragic accident, she finds herself being desired by Andrew's best friend, Michael. Unable to forget Andrew, Evangeline tries to escape and moves back to New York. However, the death anniversary of Andrew brings her back and she once again is face to face with her demons. She shuts herself out even more and finds herself fighting for her own life. Just then Michael gives her an unexpected gift and after a visit from Andrew in her dreams, she finds herself falling for Michael. But will this make her heal or make life even more unbearable?
