Cold in the Ground

In the eyes of a doting Grandmother, a grandson can do no wrong. Christopher Reynolds has been missing for two years, and nobody is looking for him. Then the boy's grandmother asks Dermot "Mack" MacFarland to look into his disappearance. It's a daunting task with no leads until Mack learns of the rumor that Chris had used a date-rape drug on a young girl shortly before he went missing. Could the rumor be true? Was there any proof? Where had the money come from? Blackmail? If Mack could find the answers to these questions--with help from his wife Jolie, who has lived in the area longer than he has--would it lead him to Christopher Reynolds? Would the boy be alive?
