Holiday in Mindanao

When soon-to-be retired mob boss Sandy Romano is unexpectedly ordered to fix an upcoming boxing match at the MGM Grand, by kidnapping the younger brother of the contender, he reluctantly agrees, but sends a crew of his most incompetent wise-guys on the assignment, hoping that the ill-conceived kidnapping plot will ultimately fail. As expected, Sandy’s crew of obese, and horribly overdressed, gangsters from Las Vegas, Nevada, raise suspicions everywhere they go, as they hunt down Bagyo Bautista’s little brother, working in Mindanao as a scuba diving instructor. Inevitably, the crass gangsters, flaunting their cash and asking the whereabouts of a local boy draw the attention of the Abu Sayyaf there on the island, a vicious terrorist group of Islamic separatists fighting for an independent state in the Southern Philippines, and who regularly kidnap rich-looking Western tourists staying at local scuba diving resorts and hold them for ransom. Luckily for Sandy’s crew, not all the tourists are who they appear to be.
