Brownstone: The Gathering

Helena Morgan woke up feeling wonderful. It was the best night’s sleep she had had in over a week. In her mind she could see the safe place that Anna had showed her yesterday. And it was wonderful. All of the furniture in the safe place was so comfortable and pleasant. She had sat in the over-stuffed chair for over an hour as she watched Anna conjure up artwork for the walls. At first Helena had not believed it when Anna told her that she had some special power, but now the facts were in evidence and she had to accept what she saw. Well, in this case she could even touch the furniture. It was just amazing. In some ways it was like walking through one of these very expensive mansions down on Liberty Street. There were going to be many magical days ahead as Helena and Anna wandered through life in Philadelphia. Mind reading and mental abilities would be used to help the girls exist and to amuse them. After growing up they would continue their life by taking a journey worthy of the best the human condition had ato offer.
