KH 970 Tutorials: KH 970 Made Easy / Charting with the KH 970

KH 970 Made Easy and Charting with the KH 970 are not meant to replace your manual. They are to compliment the instruction books that came with the machine as well as to give Step by Step examples. I use these books in my 'Hands On' classes. KH 970 Made Easy is for the first time user of the machine. It will explain the icons and give simple instructions to get you knitting your favorite designs and garments. You will learn to program a built-in design, add your own designs, download designs from a disk drive or the PPD cartridge, drawing simple garment shapes and much more. Charting with the KH 970 will give you the tools to create your original garments and hopefully help you imagine all the other shaped items you might want to knit. The Charting portion of the KH 970 is the same style of charting as the Knit Calculator + much more. Being able to see your garment and design at the same time as well as have the instructions for shaping on your screen makes knitting your original garments a breeze. You will be able to truly customize your garments.
