The Fourth Planet

As early as 1896, it had been suggested that radio could be used to contact Mars. There have been continuing attempts since then by various groups to listen for signals to determine if there was life out there. With increases in technology there have been signals sent out into space to attempt contact. It is now 2360, and there is a single message received. It is; “We are coming.” Now the controversy begins as different groups suggest different agendas on the contact. Are they benevolent or are they belligerent. They are considered advanced and everyone should know that an advanced race is benign or are they. If they are belligerent and advanced, how can the Earth resist. Singh Chandra a scientist and General Jerrod Woods are tasked with greeting them if they are benign or fighting them if they are belligerent. They know the future existence of the Earth is at stake. They have one year to prepare and get ready; one way or the other.
