Enemy Combatant: A Soldier's Adventure

US Army Sergeant Jon Bishop is working a remote security checkpoint in Iraq. His life quickly changes when the outpost is attacked by insurgents. Forced to take the protection of a local family, he is unwittingly pulled into dealing with their baggage, thousands of years old. Jon finds he has ties to this family and must fight behind enemy lines against a common enemy. Along the way, he learns about the burning of Baghdad during Shock and Awe, the palaces of Saddam Hussein, and the secret tunnels of Baghdad that used to run under the city . While fighting to protect the US Army, he has to fight to find his own senses of what friends and family really mean.
